    These can be personalised with the recipient’s name and two free lines of message for you to add your own personal message depending on the occasion. Gift certificates are valid for a TWO year period from the date of purchase.

    Prices are charged at the day of payment so if you make a purchase on or before the 31st December 2024 it will be cheaper than a purchase on 1st January 2025.

    Terms of purchase and use for Gift Certificates:

    • To purchase a gift certificate, select which option you require;
    • Full payment must be made in full before the certificate is sent in the post or collected in person;
    • Bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking and the certificate reference must be stated at the time of booking;
    • Certificate valid until date refers to the date of the actual booking and not the date on which the booking is made. For example, you cannot book a trip for 2nd April on the 30th March with a certificate that expires on the 31st March;
    • Certificates are valid until the date printed on the certificate being 24 months from the date of purchase;
    • Cancellation of a booking after 7 days of booking will render the certificate null & void;
    • Certificates need to be presented to Ellerbeck Narrowboats prior to departure. If the certificate is not available prior to departure the full amount shall be required to be paid with a full refund when the certificate is redeemed after the day of hire;
    • All normal terms and conditions of hire apply;

    Gift vouchers

    Gift vouchers are available in £50.00, £20.00, £10.00 & £5.00 denominations and can be given to someone as a gift towards the cost of a booking with us. The can also be purchased as a convenient way to put money aside for a future booking with us. Gift vouchers are valid for TWO years from date of purchase.

    		 Gift vouchers can be used for daily canal boat hire along with the purchase of boating services or products supplied by Ellerbeck Narrowboats; To purchase gift vouchers, select the total amount you require either single or multiple vouchers;
    • Full payment must be made in full before the vouchers are sent in the post or collected in person;
    • We require full contact details for the purchaser;
    • Bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking and the voucher reference(s) must be stated at the time of booking;
    • Vouchers are valid until date printed on voucher, being three years from the date of purchase;
    • Day of hire can be for after the voucher expiry date as long as the date of booking is before the voucher expiry date;
    • Cancellation of a booking will render the voucher null and void if cancelled within 28 days of the day of hire;
    • Vouchers need to be presented to Ellerbeck Narrowboats prior to departure if using for boat hire. If the vouchers are not available prior to departure the full amount shall be required to be paid with a full refund when the vouchers are redeemed after the day of hire;
