The coffee from The Boatyard Bus Cafe can now be purchased to make at home 👍☕👍☕👍☕Missing our coffee and want to have some at home?
We have an arrangement with our supplier to send our coffee directly to our customers as coffee beans, for filter use or to use in your cafetiere.
250g - £6.60
500g - £10.80
1kg - £18.40
Delivery is only £2.50 for a 24 hour Royal Mail service which will obviously be subject to their operations in this difficult time.
If you'd like to order please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with the quantity and size of bag you want, whether you want beans, the filter or cafetiere version along with your address and phone number.
Once I have this then I can call you to take a card payment and get your order placed with our suppliers.

We are waiting for the Prime Minister's announcement on 14th April before we make a final decision on the bookings we have for May 2020.
It looks like they may be cancelled but let's keep a little candle burning until then.
I am hoping that when restrictions begin to lift they will start with allowing small get togethers which means people can start to hire boats again....here's hoping!!

As you can appreciate and understand it is with regret that we really have no option other than to cancel bookings with us due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) virus.
Everyone has been told to socially distance themselves and self-isolate etc and it would be socially irresponsible for us to continue operating. This would go against Government advice so the most responsible thing for us to do is to cancel bookings with immediate effect until at least 30th April 2020 and review this on a month by month basis depending on the situation at the time.
We do hope that you understand and would be happy to reschedule your bookings with us at a later date within 9 months from the original date of hire. The reason for this is to try and reduce the impact on our 2021 season where we will be able start afresh and concentrate on the future of our businesses.
If you would like a refund, we would rather you didn’t and opt to reschedule your booking, but if you do, please call me on 01257 480 825 although could I ask you to consider the implications on us as a small business in this very difficult, uncertain and unprecedented time.
I am not sure if you were considering breakfast, lunch or buffet food from The Boatyard Bus Café as part of your canal boat trip, but as you are probably aware, all cafes and restaurants have also had to close until further notice by Government request.
I have already had a couple of bookings reschedule to a later date in the year and if you have an upcoming booking with us you are more than welcome to contact me to do the same. Obviously, any rescheduled bookings will be subject to the Coronavirus situation at the time and may well be cancelled once again.
Any further updates will regarding your individual booking will be relayed directly by email but should you wish to keep up to date on how the situation is currently directly affecting us then please follow this page and our website at www.boatstohire.co.uk/news for the latest developments.

Government advice recommends minimal social gatherings but if you are a family group who regularly socialise or live together then going out on the boat is no different to your every day environment.
If you are a group of friends then cancelling may possibly be the safest option. If you do wish to cancel then please get in touch. We would ask if you could reschedule to help us out as we are a small business and face a very difficult time ahead rather than asking for a refund.
If you were to reschedule then you could do so for up to 9 months from the date of booking to try and reduce the impact on our 2021 season and to allow the current situation to calm down.
However, if your booking is after 1st June I would suggest holding off rescheduling as things may change by then, we will update Facebook with any developments.
I appreciate that this is all a bit confusing but none of us know what's going to happen tomorrow let alone in the next few weeks.
We are assuming that many bookings will still go ahead so if you already have one then we look forward to seeing you then.
